Constantine MIKA, a 26 year-old powerful and versatile forward, who has already played more than 65 games in the two top leagues in the world (the NRL and the Super League), will join the Toulouse Olympique from the 1st July 2016.
The TO XIII has never hidden its ambition: the club wants to earn promotion to the Championship next season and aims for Super League within 3 to 5 years. With those high goals in mind, Toulouse’ directors have decided to seize the opportunity to recruit « Con » MIKA.
Born in New Zealand from Samoan parents, Con has first experienced the NRL where he played 4 seasons with the Newcastle Knights and was selected twice with the Samoan national team, before he decided to join the Super League with Hull Kingston Rovers. He really showed his talent in the two seasons with the “Robins” where he became one of the best forwards in Super League.
Affected by personal issues in 2014, he decided to put his professional rugby league career aside and moved back to the Southern Hemisphere. The following year, he chose to discover France and try Rugby Union with Aix en Provence (Pro D2), but after one season he has expressed the wish to play again Rugby League, his favorite sport. Despite other proposals, he was seduced by the Toulouse project and he wants to be part of it.
